Monday update- Rehab Facility

Jordan had a good day today, he was able to interact with some friends and family. He suctioned his own mouth and was able to be off the restraints today, however he is still unable to communicate verbally with the trac. 

He had a visitor today from the rehab facility that has been highly recommended, and  looks to be the best fit for Jordan. This morning he agreed to go there to continue his progress.  So now the process of getting this facilty authorized by the insurance starts however the representative feels based on his injury it should be no problem at all. We are hoping that he can get transferred by the middle of next week at  the lastest. 

The facility that he has agreed to go to is Craig Hospital just outside Denver, Colorado. We have met and spoke with several past patients of Craig and have visited the facilty. They specialize in spinal cord injuries and the environment at the hospital is ideal for Jordan and his future progress. 

We are confident that Craig is the best place for him. 

We will let you all know as soon as we can what day he will be transferred once it is approved. Thanks everyone for your continued support for Jordan.
